Privacy notice

In short: Ciklobike needs no sign-up, uses no cookies and collects no data that would identify you.

Effective: 31 October 2026

Operator

Ciklobike is developed and operated by DarwinAI, a brand of ARworks Kft. For privacy questions, contact us at szbudahazy@arworks.com.

Visit statistics (Umami)

We measure visits with Umami, an open-source, cookieless web analytics tool, only on the production domain cxemulator.darwinai.hu. It records which page was opened, where the visit came from (referrer), browser and operating system type, device type, screen size, language and the country derived from the IP address, plus events about using the emulator (for example: the emulator started, the exploded view was opened).

Umami does not store IP addresses, sets no cookies and does not follow visitors across other sites; data is kept in aggregate form that cannot identify a person. If “Do Not Track” is enabled in your browser, nothing is recorded.

The purpose is to improve the service (which features are used, where visitors get stuck). Legal basis: the operator’s legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Data on your device

The emulator keeps its settings (for example the language, the tour state and display options) in the browser’s local storage. For fast start-up and offline use it stores the application files in the browser cache (service worker). This data stays on your device, is never sent to the server and can be removed at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

The “Share” feature writes the bike configuration into the link address. It contains no personal data.

Server logs and hosting

The site consists of static files and runs in a self-managed Coolify environment at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. For troubleshooting and operational security the application’s web server keeps a technical log (time, requested address, status code, size) without IP addresses or browser identifiers.

What we do not use

  • Cookies, ad tracking, social media plug-ins.
  • External font services or content delivery networks (CDN): every file is served from our own server.
  • Accounts, forms or newsletter sign-ups.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you may request information, object to processing and ask for erasure. Because the aggregate statistics do not identify visitors, we cannot look up individual records. Please send questions to szbudahazy@arworks.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, naih.hu).
